skulptur.europa wird lokal verortet und global verhandelt

Das Projekt soll in sämtlichen EU-Staaten realisiert werden und basiert auf dem Prinzip, »das Gleiche im Unterschiedlichen« hervorzuheben. So wird bei allen Skulpturen dasselbe Material verwendet – »float.glass« – aber für jedes Land ein eigener Farbton gewählt. Die Skulptur ist in jedem Fall begehbar und der Grundriss ist individuell auf jeden Ort zugeschnitten. So stehen diese Skulpturen für den Respekt vor dem Individuellen und Lokalen einerseits und für die Gleichheit der Grundbedürfnisse aller Menschen andererseits. Die Transparenz des Materials »Glas« weist auf die Wichtigkeit einer »offenen Kommunikation« hin im Sinne einer »Durchlässigkeit«.  

Ziel ist es, durch Kooperation eine Kokreativität zu erzeugen und mittels Kohärenz zu neuen Lösungen zu finden. So ist dieses Projekt pionierhaft und völkerverbindend zugleich.

Parallel dazu werden vor Ort »lectures« mit Persönlichkeiten aus Kunst, Politik, Wirtschaft, Glaube + Religion, Wissenschaft und Philosophie veranstaltet. Eine »Bildungs- und Kommunikationsoffensive« wird so in Gang gebracht, um auf eine »Politik des Vertrauens« hinzuweisen, die »Werte verhandelt« statt »Angst zu verbreiten«.

In den sozialen Medien wird die Diskussion weitergeführt. Im Sinne einer »Web.sculpture« zeigt sie sich als virtuelle Skulptur, die durchlässig und transparent in der Kommunikation ist und die den »Prozess als permanentes Kontinuum« aufzeigt.

Die Erstellung jeder Skulptur gerät so zum »event« auf intellektueller und gesellschaftlicher Ebene.

The project should be implemented in all EU countries and is based on the principle of emphasizing “the same in the different”. Thus, all the sculptures will use the same material, namely “float.glass”, but a separate color will be selected for each country. The sculpture is in any case accessible and the floor plan is individually customized for each nation. In this way these sculptures represent on the one hand the respect for the individual nations, and on the other hand the equality of the basic needs of all people. The transparency of the “glass” material symbolizes the importance of “open communication” in the sense of “passing through”.

This project is thus simultaneously pioneering and unifying, bringing people and nations together.

The realization process will be posted on the web and at the same time “lectures” with prominent personalities will be organized on site. Thus, the creation of each sculpture will also become an “event” on an intellectual and social level and will be “negotiated” globally.
